Chairman BOG Message
Lt Gen Muhammad Naeem Ashraf, HI (M)
Commander 2 Corps

It is indeed a moment of delight, not only for 2 Corps and Pakistan Army, but above all for the people of Multan that we are launching yet another educational project in the city of Saints. Multan with its rich cultural traditions has always been held in great esteem by Pakistan Armed Forces and the relationship of love between the two has steadily grown over the years. Several welfare projects have earlier been initiated in Multan by 2 Corps, some of which include Al-Noor School for special children, Multan Garrison Education System and other sports and recreational facilities.

When I assumed command of 2 Corps, it was my earnest desire to persue the projects of 2 Corps with full vigor. CMH Multan Institute of Medical Sciences is a new valuable addition to this long list of welfare measures taken for our community. 2 Corps, under the gracious patronage of COAS General Raheel Sharif NI (M) and valuable assistance of civil society, has finally completed the project of CIMS and is all set to receive the inaugural entry of institution in December 2015.

I sincerely hope that CMH Multan Institute of Medical Sciences will go a long way; not just in future strengthening of bond between the people of Multan and Pakistan Army, but also in contributing to health education and medical research in the region.
