The department of medical education is currently the healthcare educational think tank and is the resource of curriculum delivery/course management.

         The primary function of DME is to empower the students for their professional growth and facilitate their know-how in research methodology/ application for better tomorrow of the community. It carries a monumental advisory role for integration and collaboration among all basic and clinical science departments.

        Departmental Objectives and Functions include following:

• Monitoring of ongoing educational activities in the college esp. interdepartmental coordination and curricular integration
• Establishment and supervision of the Examination Cell
• Continuous supervision of individual student performance
• Promotion and implementation of innovative educational techniques esp. e-technology in the institution
• Faculty Development Programs and CME activities
• Introduction of new techniques for guidance and counseling of students including set up and supervision of Student Mentoring Program
• Promoting a culture of 360 degree Feedback for continuous renewal and up-gradation of faculty and student performance
• Arrangement and organization of Guest lectures by National and International speakers
