The Oral Medicine and Diagnostic Department is the central unit of CIMS Dental College Multan, where the patient visits first and gets the primary response. The department aims at providing the best possible diagnostic and screening services to patients with orofacial ailments. Here the patients are screened, and a thorough clinical examination is followed by diagnosis and subsequent referral to the respective departments. The Oral Medicine department is also an integral part of the clinical training of BDS students and House officers, where they are trained and facilitated to diagnose the conditions pertaining to orofacial region such as oral ulcers & infections, oral lesions, facial pain & neuropathies, TMJ & Salivary gland disorders and oral manifestations of systemic diseases.

We are determined to make students completely aware of the prevalent diseases, and to develop evidence based clinical approach through research oriented academic and clinical learning.
