The Surgical division of CMH Multan is an advanced 200 bed unit of hospital. It constitutes department of General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Pediatric Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery and Orthopedics, each headed by experienced specialists.
The surgical work load comprises of a heavy outpatient attendance as well as major and minor surgical procedures annually.  State of art procedures like advanced orthopedics, reconstructive surgery, video assisted thoracic surgeries, minimally invasive procedures like arthroscopy, laparoscopic surgeries and endoscopy etc. are being carried out on regular basis.

The department is recognized by CPSP for fellowship certification in Surgery and Allied (FCPS).
