The IT Department at CIMS College plays a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the technological infrastructure across the College of Dentistry (CDC), Medical College (CMC), and Nursing College (CNC). The department ensures smooth digital operations, manages institutional data, and provides advanced IT solutions to meet academic and administrative needs.

Core Functions of the IT Department

Network & Infrastructure Management
Overseeing campus-wide internet connectivity, server maintenance, computer labs, and hardware installations.

Educational Technology Integration
Supporting e-learning platforms, smart classroom tools, and digital content delivery for MBBS, BDS, and Nursing programs.

Software Solutions & Systems
Managing the Hospital Management System (HMS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), email servers, biometric attendance systems, and other institutional platforms.

Technical Support
Providing rapid IT support for faculty, students, and staff. Troubleshooting issues related to software, hardware, and user access.

Security & Data Backup
Implementing cybersecurity protocols, safeguarding sensitive academic/clinical data, and ensuring regular backups.

Technical Leadership  Managing IT infrastructure, executing digital transformation projects, and coordinating with CDC, CMC, and CNC leadership for IT needs.
