MERIT FORMULATION CRITERIA FOR MBBS ADMISSIONS 2025-26
CMH MULTAN INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (CIMS) MULTAN

CIMS Multan is an Army administered Private Medical College affiliated with National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) Rawalpindi and NUMS is the Admitting University for all its Constituent, Affiliated and Army administered Medical and Dental Colleges.

NUMS will conduct entry test and process admissions in MBBS/BDS programs of all its constituent and affiliated Medical & Dental Colleges through centralized admission process.

In compliance with the NUMS instructions in the light of PMC Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education (Admissions, Curriculum and Conduct) Policy and Regulations 2025-26, the criteria for merit formulation for MBBS admission in CIMS Multan for Session 2025-26 will be observed as under:

a. Weightage Formula

• MDCAT NUMS – 50%
• F.Sc (Pre-Medical)/HSSC/Equivalent – 40%
• SSC/Matriculation/Equivalent – 10%

b. Passing NUMS MDCAT 2025 with 55% marks shall be mandatory for MBBS admission in CIMS Medical College Multan as per PMC Policy and Regulations. However, only an applicant who had passed the MDCAT 2025 and is in possession of pass certificate with 65% marks of MDCAT may apply for admission in MBBS/BDS.

c. Obtained an HSSC/FSc (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent 12th grade qualification recognized in Pakistan having obtained a minimum of 60% marks therein, or a higher percentage as may be notified by the Medical and Dental Council.

d. Passed the subjects of Biology and Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics in the examination of the Higher Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent 12th grade qualification recognized in Pakistan.
