CIMS Multan (CMC and CDC) marked a significant milestone on October 18, 2023, with an celebrating World Anatomy Day. Distinguished faculty members from all departments gathered to commemorate this occasion.

The theme of the day, “From Cadavers to Gadgets: Evolution of Teaching and Learning Trends,” was central to the event. The Welcome Address, delivered by Prof. Dr. Wajid Hussain Barki, Head of the Department of Anatomy and Principal of CIMS Medical College, emphasized upon the relevance of the theme in the contemporary educational landscape.

Dr. Hamd Binte Shahab Syed, Associate Professor of Anatomy, took the stage to enlighten the audience about “Exploring the World of Digital 3D Anatomy,” while Dr. Muhammad Ali Rabbani, Assistant Professor of Anatomy, discussed “The Power of Virtual Microscopy in Anatomy Education.” These presentations stimulated a vibrant exchange of ideas during the ensuing Question and Answer session, delving into the use, implications, and ethical considerations of these technological advancements.

In his closing remarks, Brig. Dr. Fowad Khurshid Imami praised the speakers and stressed the theme’s significance in modern medical education.
